Annual Vehicle Registration Renewal
Every vehicle in California must be registered with the DMV every year. This includes passenger cars, trucks and motorcycles, recreational vehicles, trailers, off-road vehicles, boats & watercrafts, as well as commercial vehicles.

Title Services
If you purchased or sold a vehicle to a private party, the purchase and sale must be promptly reported to the DMV.
Vehicle Purchase from a 3rd Party in California
After purchasing a vehicle from a private party you have 10 days to transfer ownership from the seller to yourself.
Vehicle Purchase from a 3rd Party Outside of California
After purchasing a vehicle from an out of state private party you have 10 days to transfer ownership from the seller to yourself.
Vehicle Sale to a Third Party
You have 5 days after the sale to report the transfer of ownership to the DMV.
Vehicle Lienholder Change
The DMV must have the current address information on the lienholder/legal owner to ensure proper notification for various types of actions. When this information changes, the DMV must be notified within 10 days.
Lost/Stolen Vehicle Title

Stickers & Plates
